The DJI Lito X1 was recently chosen to be the newest drone in Leafland’s Fleet during an internal meeting with the military and will be joining the fleet officially on the 1st of January 2027 with the appropriate registration: LTX1.
The Lito X1 will be a “high-tech, modern” surveillance drone according to the Department of Defence, as the drone features LiDAR technologies and stabilisation capabilities. This allows for use in “indoor settings”.
The DoD will be covering the nearly £400 drone which is the equivalent of a mind blowing Ⱡ4000, leading many to question if the drone is really necessary.
